Privacy

This site is built to be private by default. We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t collect payment details here. There are no comment sections. The only thing visitors can leave publicly is a reaction on a post or event, and those are stored as anonymous, aggregate counts — never tied to an individual.

The one exception is our forms. If you fill out our volunteer / PTA member sign-up form or our contact form, you choose to give us your name and email address (and, on the volunteer form, optionally your phone number, a role of interest, and a short note). We use this information for one purpose: so a PTA volunteer can follow up with you. These submissions are sent directly to the PTA’s email inbox — they are not stored in a database on this website, not shared with anyone outside the Camelot PTA, and not used for advertising. If you’d like us to delete a submission you sent, just contact the PTA and we’ll remove it.

We use Google Ads to measure anonymous, aggregate clicks to and from our donation partners, which we share with them to demonstrate the value of their giving — no individuals are identified or tracked.

Donations are handled entirely by established 3rd-party services such as PayPal or CashApp. When you choose to give, you will be linked to their site to complete the transaction, and anything you enter is handled under that provider’s own privacy policy.

Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies to keep the site working — for example, to remember a reaction you’ve left so it isn’t double-counted, and to keep board members signed in to the admin area. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features (like leaving a reaction) may stop working if you do.

Links to other websites

This site contains links to websites operated by our donation partners, the school, and other third parties. Camelot PTA did not participate in the development of those sites and does not exert editorial or other control over them. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any site we link to. Once you follow a link away from camelotpta.com, that destination’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

Ownership & independence

This website is owned and operated by Camelot PTA, an independent parent-teacher organization. Camelot PTA is its own entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official part of Camelot Elementary School or Orange County Public Schools (OCPS).

Camelot PTA is a chartered local unit of the Parent Teacher Association, in good standing under National PTA Unit ID 00206231. “PTA” is a registered service mark of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers, used here as an affiliated unit.

This is not an official school or school-district website. Any references to the school are provided for community information only.
